Thanks so much, yes I am aware, I have a small 5 car collection and don’t need a second convertible so would really like to get a sedan in this slot. Thanks so much!

I ended up with the 41 76C from Old Forge, I have been very pleased with the car. It needed some minimal mechanical recommissioning but runs like a champ now. I am currently working on the installation of the Fog Lights, tracking down that switch for the dash was a job! The hood definitely needs paint. It’s a mini rly deteriorated restoration that’s a delightful car to drive. Someone clearly invested in it when it was spruced up originally. Cheers!

Why change? Didn't Buick invest millions of dollars on a million dollar ride? -

Congratulations on your Buick!

For what its worth, I think it being a Stick is very cool. While not correct, I would love to find a Standard Shift and put it in my Roadmaster. I think Black and White looks good on a 55! I would love to see more of this car as it comes along. Thank you for sharing! Eric Bell

1956 Buick Century dashpot and mounting bracket
1mortician replied to Beemon's topic in Buick - Post War
I too am in need of a bracket for my car if anyone has stirred up another. Thanks so much. -
I have concluded this missing piece of equipment may be leading to some of my stalling and hesitation issues at the stoplight. I need a bracket and a Dashpot, I do think the actual Dashpot is still available, but my car never having had one in my time of ownership this is a bit of a mystery. Any help welcomed and appreciated. Thank you! Eric Bell

I am sure they were thinking SALES! They sold 85K of these and 29K of their Roadmaster brethren. haha!
