  1. You might try a place like Bob's Speedometer in Michigan. I think they do about anything concerning gauges, speedometers, clocks, and so on. I don't actually know if they do cables, but I'll bet they do. (They are kinda' expensive for gauge restoration, but do an excellent job. ) Years ago I had a local speedometer shop do a cable for my '37 Coupe, and they just simply made the darned thing. I guess somebody, somewhere, can still do that if they have an idea what they are working with. ????? Do you need measurements from mine? Pictures?
  2. There is an estate sale here in my town with an absolutely cherry 1950 Studebaker pickup (2R5) that has my interest up. It won a 1st at SDC a couple of years ago, and the owner is now deceased. It is an apparently perfect restoration (I don't know if I've ever seen a more flawless frameoff restoration). What is the approximate worth for this vehicle? Thanks.
  3. Larry, Good friend in High School had one. We loaded 18 people in and on it from downtown back to the school. (3 blocks). Don't know how he could see where he was going. I am restoring a 37 Studebaker Coupe Express that was in similar condition. The 3 years is probably realistic for most of us. Could you post more about the rust electrolysis method that you used. I have some larger parts I would like to try it on. Best, Don
  4. Try ShrockBrothers@penn.com They should be able to help you out.
  5. Anyone 'gonna' be there with parts, etc. for 1937 Dictators. Always looking, and will only be able to be there part of one day (Monday). If you do, let me know where you will be located. (I am assuming that there will be a swap meet somewhere during the meet???)
