Agreed Neil. The interior seats are questionable, as well as the front carpet and trunk material. The color looks to be non original as well. Overall someone spent some good money to get the car to that point. They are good drivers.

I am looking at a 1934 836A. Are there any Pierce-Arrow owners out there that care to share their opinion on their 836A, positive or negative? Are they good driving and reliable tour cars? Why did you buy it and or sold it? Thanks.

Does it come with the fuzzy dice? Looks like owner #1 or #2 did very little to keep up the interior.

Super day for a drive. Just about 70 degrees and sunny. Surprised to not see many antiques on the road. We went for a ride in northeastern Connecticut through Brooklyn to Pomfret, where the Pomfret School was having their graduation, and then on to Woodstock for a picnic lunch with my daughter.
Of course we could not end the day without ice cream. It was a great day!

You will probably never see another at a car show. Nice looking even if it is green.

Too bad someone didn’t have the foresight to keep it in a garage. It is nothing more than scrap at this point.

Someone clearly does not know what he owns. Electra? Phaeton? Oh boy.

What a beautiful old Pierce Arrow.

Someone must be buying their cars if they are still open.

Just came back from my first drive of the year in the 41 Special. Between talking off the cover and checking the fluids and tire pressure, I spent less than 1 hour getting it ready for the maiden voyage. It started up with little fuss and drove flawlessly for an 81 year old car. I really wonder why more people are not owner/drivers of pre-war Buick's? I have owned my model 41 for 19 years and my model 71C for 10 years. I cannot believe how reliable and fun to drive they are, not to mention the thumbs up they get. I think 1941 Buick's are a best kept secret.

I wish my first antique was a Packard. My first antique was a great great uncles 1953 Olds Super 88. It was originally factory black according to the paint code. Before delivery it was painted gray and white. Looking back it was a sharp combination. When I got the car with an original interior and engine with 27K miles. Oh yes, original US Royal tires too. I was fortunate to have some connections, and the car was brought to a local technical school where they completely stripped the paint and painted the car as a shop project. I chose the colors. Overall I paid less than $500.00 for the paint. It was a sharp car but I always longed for a prewar car.

I am looking for a flywheel cover for my 1941 Buick Roadmaster. It has the 320ci engine. It has gone missing and no one seems to know where it may be. Thanks

It appears "fully restored" means different things to different people.

That’s a beautiful luxury car, in really nice condition. Too bad the new Chrysler cars have lost their way. Chrysler had some classic styles.

Yes, even from the distance down the road you can hear all sorts of noises. Maybe a hole in the manifold as well as a transmission issue? I don’t know from here, but these cars are usually whisper quiet.
