Who needs traffic lights?

Recommended Posts

I notice that the cars of 1906 don't necessary

adhere to specific traffic lanes, but weave anywhere

they need to go.  (I guess it was easier to do that

at speeds of 10 or 15 miles an hour.)  And with such

low traffic speeds, people crossed the wide street

not only at intersections, but wherever they happened to be!
