29 erskine pics finally

windows look better cleanedfirst day outside ready for the fall fair parade last saturdayhad to remake the trunk floor, the wood was rotten with a piece of old tin nailed overtop,  all I had was the four perimeter pieces for patterns, and cut the new ash boards as close as possible to original pieces

No, it is a Cabriolet not a coupe. This body style did not come with a rumble seat.

By the way it looks like the radiator shell is Model A Ford. Definitely not original Studebaker Erskine.

thanks studeq for posting that Erskine cabriolet print, I like reading stuff like that.  I'm not sure what you mean by the grill though.  according to the Erskine serial number plate on the frame, and the body number plate on the firewall, and the shape of the instrument cluster, I'm pretty sure I don't have a model a ford in disguise, but you never know.  I looked at some pics of ford rad shells and every one I seen is flat across the bottom where the hand crank hole is,  where on my car there is a hump in the centre of the chrome at the bottom where the crank goes through and that matches what is in my parts manual.  I could be wrong thought?

I think he means someone has swapped the radiator shell out. The bottom of yours looks like my 29/30 Dictator but the top is quite different.

I just looked at a bunch of pictures on the web, of 29 grills that have that bow in the top part, so its hard to say.  that's what I like about the comments on the forum, but after pouring over pictures, and changing things like the vacuum pump back from somebodys 6v electric, ive spent money on parts, but I'm not finished yet.

some underhood pictures.  I was trying to drag attachments off of my email before, which didn't work.i did my wiring over with cloth wire and loom, and added the oil filter.  the starter button in the floor is wrong, but if someone could send pics of their start pedal so I can see how it is mounted and make one.
