Guest
They look like "blue dots" to put in the middle of your taillight lenses.

Guest
They are banned in certain states and provinces but are sold by many vintage suppliers. Some of the main Chevrolet and Ford places even sell new lenses with the blue dot already installed. Obviously you can use them but if they are banned where you are driving you could be fined. I havn't heard of anyone being fines in the last 45-50 years. In the 50's and 60's in Manitoba you could be fined if your car had them and just parked. nick8086
They are banned in certain states - What was the reason for the ban?
Fleek
In many states only red or amber lights can be used on the rear of a car. The blue dots change the color of the light and is considered illegal.
28 Chrysler
The glass ones are a bit nicer than the plastic versions. E Bay or the H.A.M.B. site would be good places to sell them. Some States the blue lighting is reserved only for law enforcement. I have seen them used as side marker lights, warning lights and used in doors wired to the dome light.
