John348 Posted October 2, 2016 Share Posted October 2, 2016 It is always out there but just a reminder I saw a segment on the 11:00 news in NYC Thursday night. The report said that there was a lot of counterfeit $50 bills (more then usual) in the Staten Island/ New Jersey Area. They were used at garage sales for small purchases, for $5 items. I spoke to a few of my NYPD Detective friends and they sad it has been "rampant" the last two weeks. They happen to be in the hobby also and said to be aware as we know Hershey is the ideal spot to launder those bills.I just bought a few of the money ID pens.
