dberkham
Need recommendations for good company to buy wiring sets for my 1950 Chrysler Windsor. It is a 4 dr, flathead six. I want to rewire everything, inside and out , as the insulation of the original wiring is starting to crumble. Your suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. tom1954
Bought the wire looms for my 54 from Rhode Island wire, great quality, they fit correrctly, and are duplicates of factory color codes.
skyler
Tom, is your 54 a Chrysler? I have a 54 Windsor deluxe convertible. your profile says this is your first project car, so if a Chrysler I have all the manuals if you need any info. I can't help with the wiring but I can say that I have heard good things about rhode is. wiring company. skyler
tom1954
Yes, mine is a Chrysler New Yorker. I already have all the manuals and many extra parts. The car is very complete, only doing minor things here and there to keep it up. We have put 5,000 miles on it in 3 years, last show of the year was yesterday, she is being put away for the winter. Thanks for your offer.
Tim Wolfe
I used wiring from Rhode Island for my 1930 Chrysler. Wiring was very well marked, it fit perfectly, and their schematic drawings were easy to read and follow. I had them add a second tail light and wires for turning signals, plus my cowl lights work as they should and work as turning signals. Very pleased with their work and quality.
