Guest crecon
As a family historian I am trying to identify this auto. We think it might be a1924 or 1925 Oakland, but don't know for sure. Sorry we don't have one with a front view or without the people. The only clues we have are the boy was born in 1921 and looks to be about 4. The gentleman on the right died in 1926, so that's how we figured 1924-1925, but guess it could be older that.Appreciate your thoughts.Bob Anderson
Layden B
1926 Buick in my opinion
dibarlaw
Looks to be a 1925-45A 5 passenger Touring with the Permanent top and glass window enclosures. The radiator shell front edges are sharper on 1925s than 1926-27. In another thread on the Buick Pre-war forum.we are discussing the interesting visors. Guest crecon
I wonder where they were off too. They were from Green Bay, Wisconsin visiting in Brayton, Iowa. Google Maps says today it's about 500 miles taking about 7-1/2 hours. Wonder how long it took them in the mid-1920s. Does look like they might have done some camping along the way. Also looks like they had to get in and out on the passenger side. Edited April 18, 2015 by crecon (see edit history)
