Wowabunga
No expert here by any means. Why did they grind off some metal around the lug holes ? Are they now scrap ? I might bring them to Hershey, but my truck died and I'm vending out of my 1994 Geo Metro.... LOL... and have to keep the weight down...!!!!! Are they worth $40 for 4 of them ??? Dave Mellor NJ
When you put V8 wheels on a Model A some people recommend using spacers as they don't sit right. Perhaps this is another way of working that out but it's a shame to permanently damage a drum.
jpage
I think the previous owner wanted to replace these drums with new. Model A drums are swedged to the hubs with the wheel bolts. He may not have known how to remove the bolts correctly or didn't care and just cut them off with a grinder. I would have to say that there must be something wrong with them in the first place for them to be dismantled and at this point they are most likely junk! JFranklin
Those may or may not still be useable. Take them to a brake shop and have them measured and inspected before declaring them junk.
