OLDTINPUSHER
GOT A FULL BOX OF OLD CLUTCHES. ALL MADE BY RUSCO COMPANY. ALL HAVE A COMPANY ID, BUT I CAN'T FIND HOW TO DECODE WHAT THEY FIT. THE ONE SHOWN IS MARKED C180 ON BOX AND CLUTCH ITSELF. ANY HELP? THERE ARE SOME AUTOMATIC TRANNY CLUTCHES TOO. LOOK LIKE ASBESTOS.
Layden B
If the several discs in the middle of the box with teeth around the outside are what you refer to as " automatic tranny clutches", they are probably conventional multiple disc clutches. Lincoln and others used such about 1930.
Dandy Dave
Buick, Dodge, Cletrac, and a whole host of others used muti disk clutch's in the teens and 20's. Bulldozers use them in the steering clutch assembles also. Dandy Dave!
Ted "Wildcat65" Nagel
I wonder if Fort Wayne Clutch would know about these. They are really good at old clutches.
