just found 1953 buick super woody wagon.pretty much melted into the ground.wood is mostly gone,roof is missing ,only has front passenger door,most chrome is missing,has front and rear bumpers,ok looking grille,front seat,dash and gauges.,rear. quarter panels have rust thru on top edge . hood and front fenders are rough,restorable???.looks like original v8 engine and auto trans.missing carburetor.has power steering and brakes, brakes,missing the master cylinder.also has radio and clock in the dash.looks like some of the tailgate metal framework is there.the wheels look like original type.talked to owner,he is willing to sell parts.50/50 with me.did not have a camera with me.the car owner and myself are in the mid 70;s.may have to pay some young person to pull parts.car is on the cenrtal coast of califfornia.the location is a fair distance from my house.if enough interest is shown,I will go there and take pictures.thanks,Bill Donnelly

Hi folks,picked up a 1936 chevy 1/2 ton truck,no engine or transmission.I have a 1978 chevy 250c.i. 6 cylinder engine with a turbo 350 transmission.it has side mount motor mount brackets bolted to the block.I know the original engine was mounted on the front,below the timing cover.is there some kind of front mount unit that can be used,without some kind of custom fabrication?for example a stock front mount from another 6 cylinder chevy.looking forward to your reply.thanks Bill Donnelly
