Steve Moskowitz Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 The Host Hotel (Clarion) has informed us that they are going to close in July for renovations. For those with reservations, a representative from the Clarion will be calling you. We have not heard from the meet organizers where they will be setting up host activities. Steve Moskowitz Posted April 5, 2007 Author Share Posted April 5, 2007 It is my latest understanding that Clarion is facilitating moving most of the rooms over to the Fairfield Inn. There should be rooms in the area for everyone. It looks like the club will move registration, etc. over to the Gilmore Museum. I called today and was told that "Tony" was taking care of the arrangments and that he only works weekdays.I made my reservations in December and they had nothing on it!! Lady put me on hold briefly, then, said I would be staying at the Clarion, no need to switch hotels.Special Events contact is Tony Shroud.I would still contact him during the week.NOTE: I BELIEVE THEY WILL BE RENOVATING A PORTION OF THE HOTEL WITH SOME ROOMS OPEN, SO, BEST BET IS TO CONTACT THEM.Regards,PJH Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
