Jeffwsp
I picked up a wood tilt steering wheel in an antique shop an I'd like to bring it to our church's Hot Dogs & History Sunday. I'm trying to determine if it's automotive or not and the approximate age. The wheel is about 17 1/8" in diameter, the hole in hub is 3/4", only marking is Pat. Pend. Layden B
Aftermarket accessory for Model T Ford, while Model T's were produced 1909 thru 1927 this item is later teens or 1920's era. Send me a private message if you are interested in selling it after the " show and tell".
Mark Shaw
That is a "fat man" steering wheel used on many brands of cars as an aftermarket acessory.
JFranklin
You could probably get $250. - 350. for it on EBay as it looks to be in nice condition.
