motoringicons
Are there HPOF certifications done at Grand National Meets or is this just done at the regular national meets? How about the Driver Participation class? Thanks.
Guest BruceW
No HPOF or DPC classes are held at Grand National Meets. Only Senior award winning vehicles that obtained the Senior award or Senior tab the prior year or earlier are elegible.

MCHinson
Ted, I once attended a Grand National Meet. I had a great time seeing all the cars even though I did not have a car eligible and never thought that I would....Now, it is a few years later and with a whole different point of view, I am planning on making the trip from Southeastern North Carolina all the way to Michigan in July. I am happy to say that I now own a car that is eligible to compete at the Annual Grand National Meet. My only fear is that I won't have as much fun at this one because this time, I will have to work to get my car ready and worry about how it is going to compete. So, if it is anywhere close to you, go ahead and go and enjoy the cars even if you don't have one in the show. It makes for a nice fun, stress free day.
