You should document with pictures everything you can about where you found it and the circumstances behind it. Been lying around in a building for 40-50 years.I have personally know the guy I purchased this from for years.He has had it stored in his building since the late 50's / early 60's.Back then, He had quite a few of them. Two of them were used as snow saucers for his kids. A garden hose was cut and put around the sharp edges and secured with small ropes to keep the kids from getting cut. He said that they built round wood frames and these "button signs" were screwed to the frames and then installed onto the outside of Diners,Grocery Stores,etc. It's the Real McCoy.I checked eBay and the only ones that were identical were only 24" and 36". Usually at least one, sometimes two in almost every auction I've been at. That being said, they are still worth a fair amount of money. Mint ones with no scratches, dings, fading or anything else will run in the $400-$500 range. Any damage will affect it's value. If I remember correctly, they were also made in white, which is much more rare and will bring more money. Seems I just saw one recently in a green color which is even more rare. You might want to check a Coke collectors website. I don't know of one offhand, but I'm sure they are out there if you Google it. Coca Cola advertising stuff has a huge following. Coke is to soda collectors what Chevy is to car collectors.I think vintage is probably 40's or 50's and may actual be dated at the bottom if you look closely and can find the sign makers name.
