ralphnof49
My 47 coupe came with various parts off the car. I have three spalsh guards, one fits over the brake and clutch area but I cannot see how the other two fit. I would appreciate any pictures or advice. Rolf
Hi Ralph, welcome to the forum. The extra 2 splash pans are probally the ones between the right and left sides of the engine and the frame, they are a little tough to install and take off, and are often left off when the engine is removed. I have no pictures of them installed, perhaps our picture guru Phil K can provide a pic, the pans are not vital, but they are supposed to be there, I hope that is the answer for the extras you have-
okdave
one of the splash pans fits below the steering box and requires removal of some steering rods to install correctly. on mine i split the splash pan between its edge and center hole for the steering rod to slide through without removal of steering rods. it looks fine. you should be able to line up holes on shield with holes on frame. david
