voucher2001
Can anyone post a picture or direct me to a picture of a green Reatta? I'm just curious to see what they would look like. Is there much difference between Sapphire Blue and Maui Blue? Pictures?
Richard S
I didn't think Reatta's came in Polo Green from the factory. I understand that color came out in 93 for the Cadillac Allante with the introduction of the Northstar system. Don't think that color was entirely responsible for killing the car that year. Guest
The very last 1991 production Reattas were available in Polo Green. My father, the BCA Reatta Technical Advisor, owns one he purchased new. It now has around 17,000 miles.
Barney Eaton
Sapphire blue was an '88-'89 color and was the only Reatta color that was a firemist.
The Maui Blue was the '90-'91 color and was much lighter than the earlier blue.
Polo Green was announced in Oct 1990 in the same document that canceled the Driftwood color. However, for some reason, there were no Polo Green car produced until March of 1991. It was first thought that very few Polo Green cars were built, but the database information would indicate that at least 150 were made and probably closer to 250. That color was very pretty and is in demand.
While rumors have circulated that there was one Polo Green convertible built, we have not been able to confirm that one exists. Guest
Don't rely too much on the hue of a picture on the Internet. Your monitor settings have more to do with the shade than the color itself. The color palette can affect the color too.
