Rich Niezabitowski
8. This is a sparkplug used in an oil burner. The coil glows when power is applied lighting off the burner. I have seen these with a long extension rod as well.9. Appears to be a cowl lamp from a 1930-31 model A Ford.
pistoncollector
Can you tell me the dimensions of the round gas tank. I need one for a project I am working on. Maybe this is the one.Thanks..........Paul
TheMoneyPit
The Rex jack looks like the factory one from the late Model T Fords (25-27), but I dont think the brand is right. Could be another company or one sold thru the Ford Owner types of magazines.
Guest carlnut50
# 7 is an air compressor from a 1958 GM car. They had an optional air suspension system that year using air bags instead of springs. The problem with the little compressor is that it depends on engine oil pressure for lubrication. You can't use it to rig up a small electric compressor because it will burn up in short order.Ask me how I know.I learned this 40 years ago.The port directly in the rear is the supply and there is a return at the bottom of the crankcase, thus forming a pressure lubed dry sump system. Wowabunga
Thanks for the input. Paul.... I have to measure this old round tank, but it's in deep storage and will be able to get figures to you in about 2 weeks. Thanks everyone....!!!!! Guest De Soto Frank
I won't stake my life upon it, but that head looks like it might be for a flathead Chrysler product...The bolt/ spark-plug spacings, heater tapping, and timing plug over #6 all suggest Chrysler Corp to my eyes...How long is the head, end-to-end ?
