car songs...need help!

Recommended Posts

I figure an olds guy should always be willing to bag on Caddys a little bit.

Check out the band <span style="font-style: italic">New Colony Six</span> in the 60's. They have a song with lyrics: "I don't want no cadillac..." Very upbeat... although quite annoying. As far as permission of use, the song writer is Ray Grafia Jr. He's still alive, well, playing music on the summer oldies touring scene and a very nice guy. The band is actually still together... although they stopped playing that song.

I found some more <span style="font-weight: bold">priceless masterpieces</span> here. These shouldn't NOT be on the Jukebox.:

"Only Mustang Makes It Happen" (or is it officially titled "Only Mustang" or "Mustang Makes It Happen?") - 1968

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRx2xzz7cJc&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRx2xzz7cJc&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

"Go See Cal" - circa 1976 (If you lived in California in the '70s, you'd have been quite fond of that guy!)

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOsLdT4slsk&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOsLdT4slsk&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

(Has 24t42 upgraded to a faster Internet connection since last time? From the last time she told me, I understand she hesitates to add to the Jukebox because of a slow dial-up.

If only I could add to the Jukebox for her...)

PS: <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: 24T42</div><div class="ubbcode-body">(on 2-24-2008 19:23:45) I will see if I can't upload a couple of new tunes for you this week.</div></div>

What did you find out when you tried?

Ok - I finally uploaded the Beatles Drive My Car to the Junior AACA juke box. Still looking for more songs to add. Maybe soon.

To access the Junior AACA juke box-

1. go to JUNIOR AACA web site

2. Look under SPECIAL FEATURES

3. Choose what decade you want. You can listen to songs individually or you can open the JUKEBOX which will load in the background. You can listen while you surf. It will load and play all the songs in the CAR TUNES section. They will play in order unless you hit the SHUFFLE button.

Enjoy!
