Notice the two rivets on the flat side, which I suspect attach a handle to the FRONT of the ashtray, which would slide or tip out. But why they would mount them on a display facing the wrong direction...? And they are listed as "disposable." They sure don't look like they're meant to be used once and thrown away! I think what he means is that the contents can be disposed after the ashtrays are pulled out (like all automotive ashtrays).They could also fit down into a receiving slot made to accept them.I agree that they look like oldies--since how long ago were ashtrays an add-on item?Somebody out there should know for sure...
