Ted Wagner
Hello, I'm looking for reference materials on the Sears Auto Buggy. 1909-1910-1911 era. So far, I'm coming up with photos off the web, but no reference to books...local library doesn't have anything here in Indiana.Any assistance is appreciated. I'm looking for detailed drawings, measurements, design, etc. etc. etc.Thank youTed Wagner

Peter J.Heizmann
Ted...Welcome to the AACA Forum. My best advise, of which, could answer all of your questions, would be to take advantage of the AACA Library & Research Center's enormous archives of unusual, rare, and, accurate historical data.Click on the AACA Library. You will find a self-explanatory form to fill out.Regards and Welcome aboard... <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />Peter J. Jay Wolf
There is also a Sear Autobuggy Club. They have a tent every year at Hershey at the end of the Chocolate field. If you can't find it I can look it up in my Hershey directory.I looked at buying one a few years back in Indianapolis I took a lot of photos they are at http://beaver.vinu.edu/sear1911/Thumbnails.html
poci1957
Ted, for a good initial history try to find the Standard Catalog of American Cars 1805-1942, a fascinating read for anyone interested in early cars. The AACA Library can then provide further details. Good luck, Todd C
