stock_steve Posted November 8, 2004 Share Posted November 8, 2004 Ted caught it--good job Ted.I've done some carfaxing recently when looking for vehicles to purchase and after initially wasting the fee for one VIN checkout only, I paid the higher rate which allows you as many VIN checkouts as you wish, but only for a limited period of time. It appears our Buick friend was hoping to catch someone with some "time left on their meter" (and who wasn't sour enough after having wasted their hard-earned $'s "learning the ropes" of carfax...)
