Guest imported_DaveZZZ
Hi All.Just wondering if anyone has ever seen an estimate of "old" vehicles still on the road. I avoided words like "antique" and "classic" for obvious reasons. Let's, for the sake of discussion, say anything from before the unleaded gas days (73-ish?)-Dave
6219_Rules
<peeking out from under my rock again>Dave, I see old cars, in excellent shape generally, alot here in Colorado. But if you want numbers I think you best bet would be the Insurance Institute of America or a group like Haggerty. They should have some interesting statistical data available. Guest greg72monte
Is that an 1864 Valiant covered wagon?
Matt Harwood
The number I hear thrown around is 3-5% of mass-produced pre-1960 autos are still around. Obviously, proportionally more classics (make that "Classics") have survived because of their greater value and prestige. I don't know that this helps. Sorry about that... Guest De Soto Frank
Yeah...it's a black-bumper Mennonite model... ( My fingers doesn't always goes where my mind wants 'em to... )Actually, it's sort of an un-covered wagon, as it could stand a new top...
