Dave@Moon
Wayne,When 200 people spend a career at Harvard to learn something that they can then try to explain to you, you might think it'd hold more weight than the Shell answer man of the month's version of what's going on. But when accepting scientific facts (and yes, tested "scientific theories", like the theory of the atom, are scientific facts) means having to admit that you've voted for a shill, most people won't swallow that much pride. And that's just my opinion.

Dave@Moon
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> I know this is going to irk you, Dave. But, why do you keep bringing up Rolling Stone Magazine? </div></div> Actually it doesn't irk me at all that you'd ask. I find it appalling that so frequently such obvious, accomplished political pieces are being published mainly in <span style="font-style: italic">Rolling Stone</span> and other non-news media. This heavenly myth of the "liberal media" has made news outlets so sensitive to anything that might color them with the longest and dirtiest four letter word in our current language that many items just aren't getting reported. The shocking state of what used to be the E.P.A. is just a case in point.I find the belittling of discovery, and the intentional ignorance of conflicting information, to be a lot more evocative of the decadence and complacency of the last days of Rome than any moral decline I can name. And the barbarians have anthrax now.
A. Woolf
Oh that is really breaking my heart! You should hear Mr Hypocrite squirm when asked about why he travels on private jets. His one trip on a private jet pollutes the air a lot more than joe six pack in his Camaro.ASW
jw24spec6
I just have to ask about the vw. my brother lives in the socialist republic of california. he wanted to buy a turbo diesel bug but they would not allow them in the state because of the emmisions. they would not pass. so whats up with that? we have bio here but no one but the hippies will pay the extra money so i think it might be gone. as for the pollution savings most diesel owners leave them running all the time doent that affect the planet some how. jim
