Vincent Vega
Most common comment: "That's a Buick?"second: "Reatta? I never heard of it."After the tour: "That's pretty cool for a car that old"I wouldn't be insulted from the Corvette comment.

Rattaboy
My son and I took my two Reattas ('90 Conv. & "91 Cpe) to a Buick show at a Buick dealer's lot in Mesa last week. We were parked among Buicks of the 50's and 60's. An older couple came by and he remarked to her, "Look, the dealer put a couple of cars off the show room out here". Made the trip worthwhile. Guest DTerry
I stepped out of it at the grocery store last week, and was asked if that little black car was a BMW.
Guest
FBN,No way should you be insulted. A vette is a great American car. We can not run like they do but we can look as good.Besides, ignorance of the facts about Reattas is widespread since it was a limited production car.Steve
Guest
I was once at a Ferrari Club event when a lady asked me if those cars out front were mustangs!

Guest EDBSO
svr335 welcome to the forum, got some bad news for you Often heard at Buick Dealerships: "What is it?" "Sorry, we don't work on dem der exhautic foreign models." "Wow, I've never seen one" "Wow our mechanics have never seen nor worked on one!" Often heard often at Mazda dealerships;"Certainly we can fix your sunroof, it is the same as our XR7's."

LuvMyReatta
A few years ago I went through the drive-through at Burger King and the young kid working there (he was about 15)stared at my 89 Reatta, then remarked, "hmmmm-that's pretty cool"
Guest
Just yesterday I went to a drive-through pharmacy and the person at the window asked if that was a cadillac? I said it was a Buick and it was 13 years old. He couldn't believe it and said it looked real nice.
Don B.
On the way home from Florida a few years ago.I had the C.B. on and a call come over the speaker."How about the Buick Corvette, you got a copy?"I just knew he was talking to me. So I picked up the mike and started talking. He complemented me on the carand he stayed behind me 'till we hit Atlanta.Yes, it's a complement and I think it is said by peoplewho know it's a Buick but can remember 'Reatta'.
