I have a 1988 reatta 122,000 miles that has 2 issues, first: it needs a rear brake line, second: it needs the trans repaired. It has 1st and reverse, thats it, when it goes to shift into 2nd it feels like you just kicked it into neutral. Engine runs fine , it just decided it didn't want to go anywhere anymore? The body is great , I'm the second owner, I bought it from a man in Akron who bought it new. Paint on hood is faded. Interior is nice seats are clean, dash and touch screen work fine. I put brand new Firestone indy 500 tires on it last year soo their like new also. Its a really nice car And if I could I would never sell it I love this thing, but the reason I'm selling is that The friend I had that was going to fix the trans died a couple of weeks ago. So right now I don't have the extra cash to fix it so I would rather sell it to someone then let it sit. Can someone please tell me where the radio is located in a 1988 touch screen assy.? I have a buzzing noise through my right channels and am figuring bad connection in the radio module but don't know where its located. any help would be appreciated. thanks alot, Willy

Hi, I purchased my reatta not to long ago and since getting it the trans acts really strange when accelerating hard ,not dragstrip stuff just firm ,it seems to shift fine even maybe a little hard, but when I'm driving easy the trans seems to not want to shift completely it seems to lag and I have to give a little more gas and then it shifts? its very strange. the trans doesn't seem to slip when its in gear. also when on the freeway and you just want to accelerate a little more you have to drop the trans manually into drive or it shakes and vibrates, or once again if you stand on it, it will down shift fine. if I wanted to drive fast everywhere I wouldn't have a problem but I like to just cruise sometimes and thats when its a problem. any help would be appreciated. I have an 88 reatta , bought it about 6 months ago, I purchase 4 firestone indy 500 tires for it, and they are great! Now keep in mind I did not drive it in the winter and have only put about 1000 miles on it since I got it, but I must say the handle great so far! I really like them. , just my opinion, Willy

Hi, I just bought my Reatta last week And have allready had the questions , "What is it?" and "Thats how old?" Asked The best one was when I took it to my girlfriends house and her sister looked at it and asked if it was foriegn ( For real) and said she had never seen one! I think thats Kind of Cool!
