CTW
I'm in need to get a car hauled from NJ to Boston. I may have to use a car transport company.. unless someone happens to be traveling that route anytime soon & wants to haul an extra 4900lbs - haha <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />I followed a link from another thread here to shipvehicles.com. they seem to give the cheapest quote even for an enclosed truck. My question - has anyone ever used this service? if so can you provide any feedback? The car has many parts detached - do car transporters typically include this as part of the service or would I have the move the parts separately?Thx - any feedback is always appreciated.Have a good night all! Bill Stoneberg
Usually transportation companies just like to move the cars. I have never had much luck with having them move "extra" parts unless they are in the car.Have you thought about just renting a Uhaul truck and trailer and going to get it ? Just another way of doing it.
1937hd45
I think I'd call Horseless Carriage Carriers, Inc. They are in New Jersey, and have the nicest looking trucks I've seen. Their ad is in the back of the AACA Antique Automobile magazine.
