What are you doing if you're not going to Hershey?

I will have to miss going to Hershey this year. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Even had a plane ticket this time.. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> Wife will have to have minor surgery, nothing serious. But she will be recovering for a while. I've been married long enough to know when I can be gone for a while, and when if I do - I'll be in trouble. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

I was disappointed, until I called my dad. He found a "20's roadster" near the Utah/Idaho border. No idea what it could be, but he knows it's "not a Ford". (Not that a Ford would be bad, just nice to see something different)It could even be an Oakland!! <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />(Ok, so another one.. I'm hooked.) Hopefully we will be able to retrieve it before it snows. I feel like a kid at Christmas again.... a lot of anticipation.

Anyway, the kids will be home to take care of mom for Columbus day, then he and I can take the day to get a better look, and be back in time for me to make dinner - a bonus to make [color:"red"]sure I'm not in trouble. And yes, I will take pictures. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

So what are the other "stay at home crowd" doing that's interesting?

While I am not going to Hershey, I am not exactly staying home either.

Texas in the fall is the time to be outside and enjoying the outside, so we are taking my nieces camping at a lake where we can Canoe and Kayak.

No cars this coming weekend for me.

I agree Bill. It is absolutely gorgeous up here in Colorado in the fall. However, being that I am disabled, I will probably spend time playing with my cars, visiting my son and writing. I need to get the new article ready for my club in Houston. After that, I will spend time reading.

Just another quiet day in the neighborhood.

CJ, looking forward to your pictures, but I could have done without that "S" word in your post. It gets cold enough around Virginia that I don't need to be reminded of it. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I will be in Hershey Wednesday, and hopefully Saturday for my annual picture taking enterprise.
