rocketraider Posted July 31 Share Posted July 31 This is a case where I'd go for the repop even if it's not 100% correct for your year. Even under almost perfect storage conditions 50 year old rubber will have taken a "set" and may be difficult to unroll without damaging it. Seen many GM mats of the time period crack around the edges or sometimes in the body of the mat.
