Leif in Calif
'59 was really a high point in American styling, but you don't hear about this design when people talk about it, and I can see why. Still, with 2024 eyes it's "So Distinctive"! And when the interior and exterior colors don’t match the claims of originality quickly fall apart. Reynard
This is a $7k to $8k car in my opinion. Let me list the reasons. Non-original, non-matching interior In need of paint and body work High miles (121,000+) Auxiliary gauges under dash Aftermarket/accessory hubcaps Single wire extending from dash to mirror to floor (?) 332 CI V-8 is not a "rare" engine 4-door sedan 8 hours ago, Leif in Calif said: There is miner dents and scratches on hood and right of part way down. Any re-paint should be the factory green to match the door jams and upholstery.

I think it's the pick axes. --- I'll sometimes see blue-ish cars with sort of off green-ish interiors and I don't know if that's fading or something else going on. A repaint would be my guess. I've seen it more often than you'd think, though. Would Ford ever use a color scheme like that? I agree on the price.
rocketraider
Looks like the blue areas may have originally been Indian Turquoise which was available only as part of a two-color paint scheme on everything but Sunliners.
