E-116-YH
For sale here is a 1930 Dodge Brothers DC-8 sedan that was originally sold new in Watertown, South Dakota. It is still configured just like it left the factory. The FEDCO serial number plate is there and readable, the engine number and the frame number match like they did when it left the factory. NO TRADES except I could get a hard-on over a DC-8 phaeton body. Presently it resides thirty miles north of Spokane, Washington and my asking price is $7,500.00. I have three other DC-8 cars and I have been involved with 1930-31 Dodge Brothers cars for the past 50 years so when I say something I am not talking out my ass. This car is missing most of the wood pieces but I have either accurate plans or patterns of them, this car is currently missing the radiator cap, one outside non-locking door handle, the foot rest (I am going to manufacture a batch shortly), the driver's side cowl light bracket, the front bumper support bar (can be made), possibly one shock and the choke control knob. If you have any questions please send me a private message through the AACA mail system. I am attaching pictures of the car and most (not all) of the pieces that go with the car. The car is being sold with a bill of sale and a Build Card from the Chrysler Historical Collection (no title). E-116-YH
Hello Matt, There used to be a car just like the above DC-8 in Australia, here is a picture of it. It was a Budd bodied sedan with wood artillery wheels but it had been trucked. It is gone now, it got assimilated into a DC-8 rumble seat coupe in New South Wales. You could buy this one and there could be one in OZ again.

30DodgePanel
I heard some people (outside of the DB circles) claim there was never pinstripe around the window frames. Obviously this photo proves otherwise.
