Hello Intimeold, What you have there is a factory accessory trunk for a 1932 Chevrolet. You are missing all the proper hardware for the trunk and the rack assembly. It was used on the four door, the two door and the phaeton body styles only. At one time the latches and the decal was reproduced. I hope this helps.

It saddens me to report this, but just this morning I confirmed with the Tacoma, Washington Medical Examiner's Office that on the 10th of this month RODGER HARTLEY did in fact proceed on to the big Dodge Brothers Dealership in the sky. For nearly fifty years RODGER was a good friend and now this earth is not the same, it is going to be a much lonelier place without RODGER. What RODGER knew about four cylinder Dodge Brothers Automobiles would have filed volumes of books! The hobby is now a much emptier place with RODGERS departure. I am attempting to put together a set of these 1930-31 Dodge Brothers DC-8, 1929-30 Chrysler model 66 or model 70 demountable wood wheels. They mate up to a wire wheel brake drum. I would appreciate any help in locating these wheels pictured below. They are 18" with 6 hole on a 6" diameter pattern. They were the first generation demountable wood wheel where the tire was held on with a chrome plate lock ring just like a wire wheel and the lug bolts were exposed. Thank you for looking at this thread and please keep a look out for them!

This 1938 Oldsmobile two door sedan belongs to one of my good friends, he nor I know what it is worth. To our knowledge there is no rust out, in the trunk there is some surface rust. My friends Grandfather purchased the car in 1940 and it has been in the family since. It has not run in many years. If anyone is interested please private message me thru the AACA mail system and I will send you his telephone number. The car is located in Northern Idaho. If I didn't have 200 years worth of projects I would be tempted myself. If anyone would like more pictures please just ask. There has been several street rodders interested in it from the Spokane area but my friend would like to see it remain stock.

Dodge Brothers display at the 1930 San Francisco Automobile Show that was held February 1st thru the 8th. The image must show the Cut-away chassis that they showed that year. Attached is an image of the 1929 display, the cover of the 1930 program and a picture of the Civic Auditorium where the show was held.
