I've never seen one with a 409 under the hood. Ed Luddy Posted April 20 Share Posted April 20 Easy enough to find out what engine was installed at the Oshawa factory by buying the GM Vintage Vehicle Documents. All 1964 Pontiac Parisiennes were Oshawa Ontario Canada built cars and yes the 409 was available. Rarely equipped as new but on the option list. Not built on the Wide Track USA built chassis but the Chevrolet X frame. Handling wasn't a high point, nor was braking.
