See New Link Below. 1965 mercury Monterey 2 door fastback for sale by owner - Mc Kee, KY - craigslist Seller's Description: I have for sale a 1965 mercury Monterey 2 door fastback with ford fe390 big block. It is original 3 speed on column. This car runs great has had a lot of upgrades done to it all while keeping it as original as possible. It has all new steel fuel lines, fuel pump, all new nickel copper brake lines throughout car, brand new upgraded master cylinder to dual bowl for safety, all new u joints in driveshaft, exhaust is true dual from front to back with new donut gaskets, brand new skinny white wall tires, original hubcaps, new spark plugs, new 2 barrel carb that has been upgraded from manifold choke to electric choke, brand new battery, new mirrors, fuel tank was removed cleaned and coated with fuel tank restorer, it has a new fuel sending unit, brand new chrome 1 wire alternator upgrade all new radiator hoses, new coolant, new thermostat. Has too much too list all had a lot of extra parts to go with it original carb that has been rebuilt, extra carb, headers, 2-original am radios, extra heater control, lots of extra chrome headlight taillight trim pieces and extra interior window handles extra window regulator. Car runs great has great heater. Has had a recent paint job still needs some interior refreshing up I have original trim pads and leather for front doors seats are in great shape dash is good shape for age headliner good shape for age. Would not take much to make nice show car or drive it now as weekend cruiser. Own a piece of history with that rare car only 6,500 made with these options.
