Fuel tank installation for 1940 Buick Century

I used vinyl strips cut 1 ½ inches wide. It’s the same material that I used for soundproofing the interior of the car. The goal to to prevent chaffing on the tank. 
 

You don’t achieve grounding at the tank. You ground the fuel line using the clips that are attached to the body support along the right side of the car.

This tip is particularly useful as the likelihood of a section of rubber hose being installed between the tank and fuel line is common.  I got you Bloo, I'm tired of chasing bad grounds with all the new paint on my car.
