Perichbrothers
Hi guys! This box was stashed with a bunch of antique 6V battery chargers, but when I opened it up it was obviously an early automobile tube radio part - AM tuner or receiver? Couldn’t find any markings or labels. The outside has a really cool art deco paint scheme. The inside uses an Eveready Raytheon er237 tube and others. I’ve got a slew of the dial/cable dash pieces stashed somewhere I’ll dig up soon, but none were obviously paired up with this unit. Anyone have an idea what maker and year? Thanks in advance!! Bloo
Yes. part of a car radio, I think from the 1930-32 period. The rest of the tube numbers would be interesting, but I don't think that could possibly be the whole radio. There was probably another chassis.
28 Chrysler
The high voltage power supply may have been in with the speaker. Many times the used a electro magnet as a choke (electrical filter)
