Rata Road
I have a heap of filters on hand for my MG YB and was hoping they would fit my Midget which is due for its first oil change since I have owned it. Its the original 948cc engine. Thanks
Terry Bond
Moss lists a filter for the 948. British Ckassic also has them. There may be other sources. Why not buy one and then compare it with what you have on hand? If they don't match up at least you'll have a filter that will fit.
Rusty_OToole
You could measure the outside of both filters and if they are the same, cross your fingers. Worst case you take out the old filter and find the ones you have on hand won't work and have to buy a new filter.
DrData
The YB used the same XPAG engine as the T series roadsters, so it is unlikely that the oil filter element would fit a Series 1 Midget. Also, the original filter element for the XPAG was a large cotton, not paper.
