1955 Packard Four hundred (400) 2 Door coupe. Rare Torsion Suspension (Car lifts up and down). Original 352 Cubic inch V8, 2 Speed Transmission. Very rare All original Packard in VERY good condition. Runs and drives great with No issues. Car is solid and in VERY good condition for its age. Clean Texas Title in hand. Asking $11,700 However all offers are considered.

The car appears to sit very high in the rear,

and quite low in the front-

 

For you more versed in the Torsion setup,

is there a problem with this car's suspension?

The secondary leveler bars are wound up by the leveler motor which raises the rear.  They can be manually wound back to a level position then the circuit shut off.  The regular full-length, interconnected torsion bars work just fine without them.  The leveler feature was to return the car to even keel when loaded with passengers and luggage.
