1949 Town and Country Wiring

Wiring Harness from the Trunk area: Back up Lights, Brake Lights and Gas Tank Sending Unit.   How does this wiring assembly route?

Does it rest upon the "floor" under the carpet?    Along the Drive Shaft Tunnel?   In my photo I have it taped down and questioning my route.

Any suggestions?

I do not know anything on a 49 but I can tell you that on a 54 that loom runs up along the roof line them back down at the " A" pillar.

On your C46 T&C it does run over the floor  along side the frivets side rubber step sill mat..but under the carpet.

I'm wiring my 48 DeSoto right now, and the car literally tells you how to route the harness.  It has clips in the engine compartment and up the A pillar and along the left side of the roof, then down into the trunk area.
