BlueDevil
I am trying to figure out how to restore the FEDCO plate on my '28 Model 72. Any experts?
keiser31
I think most were nickel plated brass or bronze. Just a guess.

31 LaSalle
on my 1928 mod 72 the fedco plate has traces of nickel the plate itself looks to be bronze or copper
28 Chrysler
I think I read some place that they were made of 3 metals to prevent duplicating or changing numbers, nickle may have been the third metal on top of a copper coated zinc base . BlueDevil
I guess I will try brush plating it with a Caswell nickel kit.
