It certainly isn't as desirable as a 1963 1/2 with bucket seats, 260 Challenger V8, and 4 on the floor. Still, looks like a pretty nice car, although it would be nice to know why it was parked at 93K miles. Given where it lived its life a thorough check for rust underneath is essential. Sal Hepatica Posted August 10, 2023 Share Posted August 10, 2023 Looks like they removed and painted the air cleaner & valve cover "resale red", without cleaning the engine compartment. If I recall correctly, they would be painted a metallic gold/brown. A good scrubbing of the engine bay would help here, otherwise it appears to be pretty decent. JamesR Posted August 10, 2023 Share Posted August 10, 2023 Yes, the red paint accents do absolutely nothing for the car except cheapen it slightly. I'm not a big fan of early US Falcons, but a two door ht is pretty cool. If the exterior paint is original it would would be something special...and worth locating an original condition air cleaner and valve cover.
