3 Split Rear Window Cab?

Paint inside door looks commercial/industrial. Could have been a truck larger than a pickup, unless frame or bed is also present to help identify. Windshield and cowl pictures could help identify it, too.

Maybe REO, White or other '40's or '50's heavy truck. The bracket on the left rear corner looks like the remains of a manual turn indicator/signal arm assembly indicating a large truck built before electric turn signals were available.

Are there any tags on the cowl, door posts, dash or glove box areas?

Looks like it could be a 1940 Chevrolet Pickup Truck, as they had just one windshield wiper above driver window and was also a split 2 piece windshield. Looks like the truck got caught in a flood-landslide during prospecting etc. Nice looking old brute and might be fun to dig pull it out for display - backyard lawn art.

Crusty Trucker seems to have a close ID for this truck. The rear window outline matches the REO Trucks made in 1945 for civilian use. Perhaps earlier years may have a matching dashboard. We can figure it out with more computer or book research. Let's Keep On Trucking folks.

Don't know about the bulge, likely got bumped around during flood or land slide or a shifted load prior to addition of Cab climbing handle. 1945 Photos of REO trucks shows seem of Cab as well. Would be cool if someone could dig out this old brute and get bite by any Rattle Snakes. Best Wishes
