Adding voltage regulator to 1938 Plymouth P5

do you have the square box riding on the generator ????    or is it rectangle on the generator ??   my books indicates that you do have a regulator on the fire wall        even if you have the square regulator it should be  enough  to use the car send pictures to     bobnroman@yahoo.com

I am away from my reference materials at present to verify but I am fairly certain that your Plymouth had a voltage regulator. It might still have a third brush for current regulation though.

Hi, Dieseldon. You DO have a firewall mounted voltage regulator on your Plymouth, as some of the guys have said. As a matter of fact, I have a still-in-the-box, factory rebuilt voltage regulator that's correct for your car. I sent you a message here on the forum.
