Leif in Calif
The appraiser didn't do this seller any favors...Chevys in the Model A period typically go for a bit less than the equivalent Ford, which would make this about 12-15K on a good day. https://redding.craigslist.org/cto/d/redding-1929-chevrolet-international-c/7612749018.html This vehicle starts right up every time. Has original 6 volt battery system. All 4 windows roll down. Interior is clean. Paint has some chips and water spots. No upgrades still stock. This vehicle is almost 100 years old and probably wont find one this complete. In auctions sell for 19k+ was professional appraised a few years ago at 21k. Make a reasonable offer. TerryB
Good pictures with a nice backdrop for the car. The under the hood pics show corrosion on many parts and the wiring has evidence of non professional fixes. Indeed overpriced but if there is wiggle room it could be a nice car for someone. zdillinger
As an appraiser, I would be shocked if the $21k wasn't an insurance valuation, which are almost always 30-40% over FMV for cars. Most people have no idea what the appraisal report actually says, so they assume that's the sale price. 2
Captain Harley
Instruments/dash and hubcaps say it is a 1930 Chevrolet. Capt. Harley😉 Skirts are for women and not car fenders!
