Hemi Joel
Hi, does anybody have a 46 to 50 straight 8 Chrysler engine they want to part with? I would be willing to buy a parts car if needed to get the engine. I'm located in Minnesota, but willing to travel a ways to get one. Please contact me via email at hemi67GTX@yahoo.com. be sure to use my name Joel in the title of the email to get past my spam filter. DFeeney
These engines are hard to find and somewhere around the fluid drive era I believe the bell housing was changed which limits the early transmissions bolting to the latter blocks Edited May 16, 2023 by DFeeney (see edit history)

Hadlock
I have a '48 straight 8 + transmission in Los Angeles that was running when pulled from a New Yorker in May 2023 (with video). The previous owner wanted to put a supercharged SBC in the body ( 🤐 ). My plan is to build a brooklands style speedster around the powerplant, but I can let it go to a good home for the right price.
