John_S_in_Penna
Here is a car you don't see every day: a 1956 Nash Ambassador 4-door sedan. I thought I didn't like the styling of these cars, but this one is beautifully restored and looks attractive. Best yet, it's reasonably priced at $13,000--a good buy for such condition. It's said to be in Illinois, and I found it on the Nash Car Club's internet site. The club's on-line classified section is primitive, and seemingly dates to the dawn of the internet, but I'll copy the links and information here to make it easy. https://sway.office.com/gStiDtQ8oTIk6wYn [Photos: total of 6] http://www.nashcarclub.org/ads/clasifid.php [Ad listing; then scroll down to the 11/14/2022 ad date] For Sale 11/14/2022 Name: Fred Karberg Email: fkarberg@gmail.com Phone: 8153984358 Local: Illinois Make/Model: Nash Ambassador Year/Era: 1956 Price Range: $13,000 Description: Turquoise beauty Ambassador in good running condition. 58,525 miles. $13,000 OBO Edited March 12, 2023 by John_S_in_Penna (see edit history)
DrumBob
John, I don't like the styling either, and never did. It's nicely done, but I still wouldn't want it.

Notice: --The black and green colors are an odd combination. --The black on the side isn't graceful; it has a strange outline. --The outlining of the front parking lights with 2-tone is unusual, too. All cars are a part of history, but Nash stylists lost sight of beauty in 1956. Contrast it with the graceful 2-tone sweep, for instance, of a 1956 DeSoto: Edited March 13, 2023 by John_S_in_Penna (see edit history)
m-mman
DeSoto stylists weren't trying to put new lipstick on a 4 year old body, while at the same time making up focal points that would transform it into a Hudson. . . 😉

Nash-Hudson was not doing well and styling (almost hard to say in this aspect) was not a concern. But like some have pointed out, these and all old cars are artifacts now. A person can own any of them and they represent a by-gone era and would just be fun to own, show and be around.
