deac Posted March 4, 2023 Share Posted March 4, 2023 (edited) This is a cool car. The rounded quarter windows are in these Oldsmobile's and Buick's which I prefer; Pontiac had a different design. Power brakes, Power steering and the Rocket V8 brings out the best in these early 50's GM cars! JamesR Posted March 6, 2023 Share Posted March 6, 2023 Probably the best looking car that GM made in '53 (in my humble opinion.) Buick was right up there, too. They both looked fantastic in two door hardtop form. This ad demonstrates how photography can influence how you see a car. I'd describe the main body color as cream, but in some photos it has a yellow tint, while in others it's slightly blue.
