I do think that is funny! I do so little work on metric stuff, and yet somehow I have broken almost every 10mm socket I had! I ended up going to a second hand junk and tool store and bought almost every used 10mm socket they had. I don't know why they break so easily? Probably something to do with too big a duty on too small a bolt head.

I don't understand a 1/2 drive 10mm socket like the HF set has. That's just asking to break stuff😖. Either the socket or the fastener.

 

There's the right size tool for the job, and then there's too big or too small for the job. I've never seen the point in making a job worse.
