Pete Phillips
I have to ship this 1933 steering column overseas. Can someone tell me how to remove the steering wheel from the column? All of the hub controls are in place and I don't want to break anything. Pete Phillips, BCA #7338 Leonard, Texas
Robert Engle
Remove light switch and throttle control lever from the bottom. BE very careful removing this part as they are die cast and very fragile. push the tubes up to remove the horn button and throttle control lever. remove the screw holding the steering wheel to the column and pull the wheel off. Robert Winters
We just shipped a complete steering wheel attached to column as one piece, we boxed the wheel in a box and the lower light switch in a separate box. it shipped with no problems.
